Giovanna Melideo received the Laurea degree in Computer Science at the University of L’Aquila in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2001.

She is an assistant professor at the University of L’Aquila since October 2001.

Currently, she is member of the Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics of the University of L’Aquila.

Her current research interests include algorithms and computational complexity, algorithmic game theory and optimization problems in social and communication networks. She has co-authored several papers in her fields of interest published in international conferences and journals.
